BSc IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

The primary objective of the above programme is to fulfil the increasing demands of this technological industry. The programme is designed for self-motivated students who wish to be equipped with the expertise needed to fill a wide range of positions in Computer Science. To graduate, students must earn 120 semester credits. However, suitably qualified applicants can be awarded credits that will reduce the length and cost of their programme of study.

Each application is treated on its own merits and the duration and cost of the programme will vary from candidate to candidate, depending on the number of credits brought into the programme.

Admission Requirements for the Bachelor Degree Programmes

All undergraduate degree applicants must:

• Have completed their secondary education or demonstrated the ability to cope with degree-level work. 

• Be at least 18 years of age by the time their chosen programme begins. (There is no upper age limit).

• Demonstrate that they have a good command of the English language. .

 

Mature Students

The University welcomes applications from mature candidates who may not have the appropriate academic qualifications, if they can demonstrate that they have relevant working experience and that they will benefit from studying for their chosen degree.

 

Transfer of Credits (Exemptions)

The acceptance of transfer of credits by the University makes it possible for students to complete their degree within the shortest possible time. For this reason a proper evaluation of previous qualifications will be carried out and appropriate credits accepted.
