In keeping with its original purpose, NIU fosters an interest in global learning and has affiliations with leading Study Centres throughout the world in delivering an American curriculum to interested students.
NIU prides itself in delivering professional education studies that meets the standards of every country in which it is presented.
Newport International University is a global system of Study Centres for the delivery of quality academic programmes throughout the world. Combining formal classroom instruction with independent study, NIU’s goal is to provide an opportunity to deliver an American degree programme to students who otherwise could not attend colleges or universities in the United States.
The American designed curriculum, supported by a world-based faculty, permits students to actively engage in educational dialogue. Further, this allows students to explore a selected grouping of studies that prepares them for a dynamic and changing environment.
The University has study Centres where services can be provided on the same basis as traditional institutions. Highly trained and skilled support staff supplements that academic training.
It is the ultimate goal of the University to add understanding and meaning to global education.
Newport International University is licensed by the Wyoming Department of Education to operate and grant degrees under W.S. 21-2-401 through 21-2.407.
It is the student’s responsibility to determine whether credits, degrees or certificates from the institution will transfer to other institutions or meet employers’ requirements.
Each Study Centre that comprises the network that forms Newport International University is required to meet the standards of their respective governmental agencies in meeting all laws, regulations and requirements.
