Objective
This Course equips students with a basic knowledge of the laws relating to the business environment and companies. At the end of the course, students should be able to draft a simple contract, analyse business related legal problems and resolve them with the application of legal principles. It will be of great benefit to students who just begin their career in business or who are interested in securing an appointment as Manager or Company Director of a large organisation. Powers and Duties of Directors, Secretary, The Seal, Dividends and Reserve, Accounts. Audit. Winding up. Regulations for the Management of a private company limited by shares. PARTNERSHIP LAW: Rights and Duties of Partner, Dissolution of Partnership. THE LAW OF CONTRACT-GENERAL: Offer and Acceptance, Revocation, Points to Consider relating to consideration. Legal Capacity to Contract. THE LAW OF CONTRACT-AGENCY; The Principal Agent Relationship and Third Parties, The Termination of an Agency Relationship. The law of contract: Sales of goods. Hire Purchase. Consumer Credit.

Entry Requirements
Minimum: Secondary level with understanding of simple English language

We ask you to submit the answers to the Assessment Test to us. The answer to the Test Paper will carefully read and mark by qualified external examiners.
